The Q Bench reflects a union of raw beauty and refined joinery. Crafted from live-edge, wide hardwood planks, each bench is milled, dried, and finished by hand in our Hudson Valley studio. The surface, ranging from 72″ to 96″, rests on a sculptural base that showcases the precision and grace of traditional Japanese joinery. Handcrafted from naturally fallen Black Walnut, Oak, or Cherry, the Q Bench undergoes our full-circle process — from milling to carving — entirely on-site, honoring both the material and our commitment to sustainability. Inspired by George Nakashima’s original design, the Q Bench brings minimalist elegance and Midcentury Modern spirit into any space. Timeless, functional, and rich in character, it’s as much a conversation piece as it is a place to gather.
