Inspired by George Nakashima’s iconic Conoid Trestle Table, our handcrafted version blends natural elegance with masterful joinery. Each live-edge tabletop, ranging from 66″ to 96″, is milled, dried, and finished in our Hudson Valley studio. Butterfly joints secure open fissures — celebrating, rather than concealing, the wood’s natural movement. The sculptural trestle base, with angled and shaped supports, showcases the finest in Japanese joinery, combining strength with minimalist sophistication. Thoughtful details include drop-in trivets — designed to increase usable surface area when needed and store neatly out of sight when not in use. Handcrafted from naturally fallen Black Walnut or Cherry, each table goes through our full-circle, on-site process — milled, carved, and finished with purpose and sustainability at the core.
